Its Halloween tomorrow and we all know what that means....any excuse to have lots of sweeties!
If you're having a halloween party, or like me you're having a girly sleepover, be sure to try out these simple halloween treats, which look totally spooky!
I hope you all have a wonderfully scary Halloween!
This one is so simple and takes 5 minutes!
All you need is a bag of small Reeses cups and a bag of pretzels, for added authenticity some red icing pen to add a bow. Just stick one pretzel in one reeses peanut butter cup and you have yourself a broom! Repeat, until you have as many as you like.
Raw ball mummies
This one is a bit more for the macro friendly guys out there!
1 cup of pitted dates, soaked in warm water for five minutes
1/4 cup of almonds 1 tsp of agave
1/4 cup of shredded coconut
1 tsp cacao powder (or protein powder of your choice).
1 bar of white chocolate
2 tbsp of coconut oil
Place the dates in a food processor and blend on a high speed until a sticky mixture is formed.
To the date mixture add the cacao powder, 1/4 cup of the shredded coconut, agave, almonds.
Blend all ingredients on a high speed until the mixture is combined, but still sticky.
With a teaspoon spoon out enough mixture to fill the spoon and roll into a ball.
In a heat proof bowl, over a saucepan filled with water add the white bar of chocolate and coconut oil
once cooled, dip the raw balls in the white chocolate and place in the fridge
Repeat until you have a thick coating
Once you have a thick coating place in the fridge to harden
then use a spoon the splash the remaining white chocolate over the raw balls to create that mummy affect and add eyes.
Place in the fridge to harden and serve.
Rice cake pumpkins
This one is totally simple too
Shape rice cakes into pumpkins then cover with orange, green and brown icing sugar...yum!
Hersheys and Oreo witches Hats
Melt some icing sugar and add orange food colouring in a bowl.
Cover the bottom of a Herseys kiss and stick to an oreo. Repeat until you have enough!
How cool are these ideas!
I can't take credit for them as a lot I found off pinterest but I wanted to share them with you all!
