The team at Grenade sent me the most amazing package - I think I speak for everyone when I say their products are so delicious! No other protein bar really compares in flavour! I didn't want to just add them to my oats as per usual, I wanted to create a few recipes using what I had been sent.
I made a chocolate bark before, it was simple dark chocolate and mini eggs - this time around I wanted to add protein and avoid melting down a huge bar of chocolate.
I'm really happy with the outcome of this!
Recipe below, give it a go!
50g of chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp of raw cacao
3 tbsp of coconut oil
4 tbsp of grenade fudge brownie protein shake
1 tbsp of agave
1tsp of coconut oil
1 tbsp of peanut butter
1 grenade peanut nutter bar chopped into small squares
Melt the coconut oil in a microwave for 15 seconds
Mix in the protein powder, cacao powder, grenade protein shake and agave. Spoon into a shallow baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Melt the coconut oil and peanut butter in a microwave for 30 seconds and spoon on top of the bark mixture use a fork to creature swirl texture. Top with Grenade Nutter Butter bar.
Pop in the freezer for a few hours to set.
Cut the chocolate bark into generous sized chunks and enjoy!
